About Us

Offering a friendly and affordable service to anyone requiring removal of furniture, or rubbish from homes, garages, gardens and many more areas. Doug and Sarah have been in the family business alongside her father and also offer not only a clearance service but also a collection and delivery service for anything from logs for your fire to bulky items bought from the garden or building centre that simply don't fit in your car. Doug was previously a class 1 HGV driver and Sarah is an acting paramedic so have plenty of experience in driving, haulage and friendly professional caring service. In most cases we can offer same day service if required.

 

We are fully licensed and insured and will dispose of any clearance items responsibly by recycling as much as we can, donating to charity, or selling on any items of value which can be offset from the cost of your clearance. we undertake bereavement and probate house clearances with care too which Sarah knows all too well in her role how hard it can be to organise when losing a loved one so we will take as much of the worrying away for you. We aim to avoid using landfill as much as possible and be an affordable option against the use of skips and other waste removal methods.  

 

It can be daunting when you have items to clear but perhaps your car is too small, or you don't have the time to take it to the tip. Let us take the stress away and get a quote today. We will dispose of your unwanted items or rubbish by donating to charity when possible, recycling or disposing of any rubbish responsibly to avoid unnecessary landfill.

As a family run business, we pride ourselves in offering a personalised service to fit your needs and requirements. We do have a minimum charge of £30 but if you have any items of value, we can look at offsetting the amount against the cost of your clearance.

The way your job is priced will depend on the amount of goods to remove, the access and time taken to clear into our van such as whether it needs dismantling or if you're in an upper floor flat which will take longer. Certain items such as white goods, mattresses, TV's etc will have an extra charge involved due to tip charges. 

​

We can also offer a delivery and collection service which comes in handy when buying items that require transporting to your home in a large vehicle.
